Kayla Kurtz

Kayla (she/her) offers admin support at Golden Counseling and is often found helping our clients and our team with a wide variety of needs! Since joining GCS, Kayla has enjoyed learning about what goes on behind the scenes of a private practice. Working in an administrative role has given her a different perspective on the field and helped her understand the moving parts involved in supporting both clients and therapists.

Kayla recently graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and plans to attend graduate school in 2027, with the long-term goal of becoming a neuropsychologist.

One of Kayla’s favorite parts of the job is working alongside the therapists at Golden Counseling. She enjoys learning from their experiences, hearing different perspectives, and seeing the passion they bring to their work. Being surrounded by such knowledgeable and caring professionals has been an important part of her growth and has made her even more excited about pursuing a career in psychology. Kayla is only at the beginning of her journey in the field and looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and gain experience along the way.
